THOMSON PRISON CESSION ACT
Summary
Creates the Thomson United States Penitentiary Cession Act. Cedes to the United States concurrent jurisdiction over the Thomson United States Penitentiary. Specifies that cession shall be effective upon the filing of an acceptance by the United States with the Governor of the State of Illinois. Prohibits the Act from being construed to deprive the State of Illinois of jurisdiction over the described lands. Effective immediately.
