YELLOW RIBBON PLATES
Summary
Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that the Secretary of State may issue Yellow Ribbon license plates. Provides that the fee for initial issuance of the plates shall be $20 in addition to the appropriate registration fee, of which $5 shall be deposited into the Illinois Veterans Assistance Fund and $15 shall be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund. Provides that the fee for registration renewal of these plates shall be $20 in addition to the appropriate registration fee, of which $18 shall be deposited into the Illinois Veterans Assistance Fund and $2 shall be deposited into the Secretary of State Special License Plate Fund.
