METRA-REDUCE STUDENT FARES

Summary
Amends the Regional Transportation Authority Act. Requires all fixed route public transportation services provided by, or under grant or purchase of service contract of, the Commuter Rail Board to be provided at reduced charge to all students in attendance at institutions of education within the territorial limits of the Authority, under such procedures as shall be prescribed by the Board. Provides that the requirement is contingent upon State reimbursement.
