CONT SUBS-METHAMPHETAMINE

Summary
Amends the Illinois Controlled Substances Act. Provides that a person may be convicted of a Class X felony possession of a methamphetamine manufacturing chemical without the proof of intent to manufacture a substance containing methamphetamine or salt of any optical isomer of methamphetamine, or an analog of the substances. Provides that a person may be convicted of a Class 2 felony violation for possession of more than 3 grams of a methamphetamine manufacturing chemical without the proof of such intent. Effective immediately.
