COURT CLERKS-MILITARY DISCHARG
Summary
Amends the Clerks of Courts Act. Provides that a military discharge form (DD form 214) is not a public record and is not subject to public inspection. Provides that upon request of the veteran or a designee of the veteran, the record of the form shall be expunged from the court record and replaced with a form containing only the name of the veteran, his or her date of discharge from military service, and the date of the issuance of the discharge form.
