JUVENILE/ADOPTION ACT-JURY
Summary
Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987 and the Adoption Act. Provides that in any proceeding on a petition (1) seeking a finding that a minor is neglected, abused, or dependent or (2) seeking a finding that a parent is unfit and that it is in the best interest of the child to terminate parental rights, the parent may demand a trial by jury.
