DEPUTY SEAN RILEY MEM. HIGHWAY

This bill designates a specific stretch of Interstate 64 in Wayne County as the "Deputy Sean Riley Memorial Highway" to honor a law enforcement officer who died in the line of duty. The legislation officially names the road segment between mile posts 112 and 116 in memory of Deputy Sean Riley, who was killed on December 29, 2021. It directs the Illinois Department of Transportation to install signs and plaques at appropriate locations to mark this memorial designation. Copies of the resolution are also to be given to Deputy Riley's family and the Secretary of Transportation.
