COM MOTOR VEHICLES-DAMAGES
Summary
Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Provides that noneconomic damages in a civil action against a common carrier may not be more than $2,000,000 per injured party. Provides that the provision applies to a cause of action accruing on or after the effective date of the amendatory Act.
