EPA-CCR SURFACE IMPOUNDMENTS
Summary
Amends the Ambulatory Surgical Treatment Center Act. Makes a technical change in the Section concerning the short title. Senate Floor Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to: 210 ILCS 5/1 from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 157-8.1 Adds reference to: 415 ILCS 5/22.59 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Environmental Protection Act. In provisions regarding CCR surface impoundments, removes language providing that a permit issued by the Administrator of the United States Environmental Protection Agency under specified provisions of the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act shall be deemed to be a permit under specified State provisions. Effective immediately.
