Summary
Amends the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning services for the visually impaired. House Committee Amendment No. 1 Deletes reference to: 20 ILCS 2405/12 Adds reference to: 20 ILCS 2405/3 from Ch. 23, par. 3434 Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities Act. In provisions concerning the program of services the Department of Human Services must provide to prevent the unnecessary institutionalization of persons with disabilities who are in need of long term care, requires the Department to provide medical services, including, but not limited to, nursing staff services for basic medical care.
