DCEO-REVITALIZATION GRANTS
Summary
Amends the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Provides that the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity is authorized to create a Regional Economic Revitalization Competition Program for the purpose of making competitive grants for the economic development regions of the State in need of community and economic revitalization. Provides that the program shall support the revitalization of communities, job growth, and population sustainability.
