MINOR
The bill was updated from House Bill 47 HD1 to HD2, primarily changing the bill number and administrative metadata. A significant substantive addition requires that any aquatic animal import permits valid on the effective date of this Act, which were previously vetted and approved by the plant and animal committee and the board of agriculture, must be carried over to the Division of Animal Industry and remain in force. This change ensures continuity for existing approved permits despite the legislative updates.
Scope change
The bill now includes a specific provision to protect existing permit holders by mandating the transfer and continuation of previously approved import permits to the new administrative division.
ELIGIBILITY

Added a requirement that existing aquatic animal import permits vetted and approved by the plant and animal committee and the board of agriculture must be transferred to the Division of Animal Industry and remain valid.

TECHNICAL

Updated the bill identifier from H.D. 1 to H.D. 2 and adjusted administrative metadata including page counts and timestamps.
