MODERATE
The bill was amended to expand its scope from K-12 schools to include pre-K-12 schools and to explicitly cover both public and private property. The amendment also added a new subsection requiring law enforcement to take displaced individuals' belongings into custody and store them safely. Additionally, the effective date was changed from upon approval to July 1, 3000, which appears to be a placeholder or error that should be corrected to a reasonable future date.
Scope change
Expanded from K-12 schools only to pre-K-12 schools, and clarified that the prohibition applies to both public and private property.
SCOPE

Changed school coverage from K-12 to pre-K-12 to include preschool and kindergarten students.

Clarified that the buffer zone prohibition applies to both public and private property.

REQUIREMENT

Added new requirement for law enforcement to take and store displaced individuals' personal belongings in custody.

TIMELINE

Changed effective date from 'upon approval' to 'July 1, 3000', which is likely an error and needs correction.
