Summary

Permits the expenditure of funds from the energy security special fund for the creation of jobs relating to clean and renewable energy generation. Requires the Hawaii clean energy initiative program to develop a plan to increase jobs aligned with the State's transition to a clean energy economy. Appropriates funds. Effective 7/1/2050. (HD1)
