RELATING TO FLOOD MITIGATION.
Summary
Requires the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency, along with the Board of Land and Natural Resources as support, to convene a working group composed of representatives from appropriate county, state, and federal agencies to develop strategic regional flood plans. Requires the working group to submit to the legislature a written report of its progress in developing plans, including any findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation, no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the regular session of 2019.
