A BILL to be entitled an Act to provide a homestead exemption from Hall County ad valorem taxes for county purposes in the amount of $10,000.00 of the assessed value of the homestead for residents of that county; to provide for definitions; to specify the terms and conditions of the exemption and the procedures relating thereto; to provide for applicability; to provide for compliance with constitutional requirements; to provide for a referendum, effective dates, automatic repeal, mandatory execution of election, and judicial remedies regarding failure to comply; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act providing for homestead exemptions from Hall County school district ad valorem taxes for educational purposes for certain residents of that school district who are senior citizens, approved April 6, 1998 (Ga. L. 1998, p. 4281), as amended, so as to increase the income cap on the homestead exemption provided to residents of the school district 62 years of age and older; to provide that any person 66 years of age or older shall receive a new exemption on the first $400,000.00 of the assessed value of the homestead; to provide for a referendum, effective dates, automatic repeal, mandatory execution of election, and judicial remedies regarding failure to comply; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act creating the State Court of Hall County, approved August 14, 1891 (Ga. L. 1890-91, Vol. II, p. 939), as amended, particularly by an Act approved May 13, 2008 (Ga. L. 2008, p. 4069), so as to restate provisions related to the number, qualification, and compensation or the judges of said court; to restate provisions related to the chief judge; to provide for an additional judge for said court effective January 1, 2028; to provide for the initial appointment and subsequent election of such additional judge; to provide a definition; to repeal superseded provisions; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to authorize the governing authority of Hall County to levy an excise tax pursuant to subsection (b) of Code Section 48-13-51 of the O.C.G.A.; to provide for procedures, conditions, and limitations; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act to provide a new charter for the Town of Arcade, approved April 5, 1995 (Ga. L. 1995, p. 4024), as amended, so as to clarify the name of the municipality; to make conforming changes; to change the date of the organization meeting of the city council following municipal elections; to revise provisions related to the form of ordinances; to revise provisions related to emergency meetings of the city council; to provide for a mayoral veto; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION authorizing the conveyance of certain state owned property in Clayton County; authorizing the lease of certain state owned property in Dawson County; authorizing the conveyance of certain state owned property in DeKalb County; authorizing the lease of certain state owned property in Troup County; to provide an effective date; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION authorizing the granting of non-exclusive easements for the construction, operation and maintenance of facilities, utilities, roads, and ingress and egress in, on, over, under, upon, across, or through property owned by the State of Georgia in Baldwin, Bartow, Bulloch, Camden, Catoosa, Chattooga, Clayton, Colquitt, DeKalb, Emanuel, Glynn, Habersham, Hall, Laurens, McDuffie, Morgan, Oconee, Paulding, Peach, Talbot, Tift, and Walton Counties, Georgia and Hamilton County, Tennessee; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 27-2-6 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to trout license, Georgia waterfowl and migratory bird stamp, big game license, and alligator harvest permit, so as to provide for Georgia turkey stamps; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 15 of Chapter 6 of Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to serious traffic offenses, so as to require restitution for certain convictions of homicide by vehicle when operating such vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs; to provide for standards for such award amount; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
