A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 7 of Title 52 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to registration, operation, and sale of watercraft, so as to provide for certain notice upon registration of a vessel with the Department of Natural Resources; to provide for performance of unattended vessel checks; to authorize restitution to the Department of Natural Resources for the cost of removal, storage, and disposal of abandoned vessels; to provide for definitions; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to provide a homestead exemption from Effingham County ad valorem taxes in the amount of the assessed value of the homestead property determined annually for the special district based upon the proceeds of a new Local Homestead Option Sales Tax (LHOST) to be imposed within the special district conterminous with Effingham County; to provide for definitions; to specify the terms and conditions of the exemption and the procedures relating thereto; to provide for applicability; to provide for compliance with constitutional requirements and the provisions of Article 2C of Chapter 8 of Title 48 of the O.C.G.A.; to provide for a referendum, effective dates, automatic repeal, mandatory execution of election, and judicial remedies regarding failure to comply; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION recognizing and commending Speaker Jon Burns and Mrs. Dayle Burns upon the celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act creating the State Court of Chatham County, approved December 18, 1819 (Ga. L. 1819, p. 16), as amended, particularly by an Act approved May 30, 2003 (Ga. L. 2003, p. 3667), so as to provide for an additional judge of the State Court of Chatham County; to provide for the election, powers, duties, jurisdiction, privileges, immunities, and compensation of such additional judge; to authorize the governing authority of Chatham County to provide facilities, office space, supplies, equipment, and personnel for such judge; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to authorize the governing authority of the City of Pooler to levy an excise tax pursuant to subsection (b) of Code Section 48-13-51 of the O.C.G.A.; to provide procedures, conditions, and limitations; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 40-2-86 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to license plates promoting or supporting certain agencies, funds, or nonprofit corporations with proceeds disbursed to the general fund and the agency, fund, or nonprofit corporation, so as to establish a specialty license plate honoring public safety officers; to provide for related matters; to provide for compliance with constitutional requirements; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 1 of Article 1 of Chapter 8 of Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions relative to equipment of motor vehicles, so as to provide for vehicle equipment standards for motor vehicles used for the sale of food or beverages that primarily conduct such sales upon roadways; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to authorize the City of Springfield, Georgia, to exercise all redevelopment and other powers provided for under Article IX, Section II, Paragraph VII(b) of the Georgia Constitution and Chapter 44 of Title 36 of the O.C.G.A., the "Redevelopment Powers Law," as amended; to provide for a referendum; to provide for effective dates; to provide for automatic repeal under certain circumstances; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend an Act providing a homestead exemption from Chatham County school district ad valorem taxes for educational purposes in an amount equal to the amount by which the current year assessed value of a homestead exceeds the base year assessed value of such homestead, approved May 9, 2025 (Ga. L. 2025, p. 3649), so as to provide that any homeowner receiving the homestead exemption provided for in Ga. L. 1999, p. 4215, as amended, shall automatically receive the exemption provided for in this Act; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to repeal an Act creating the Garden City Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Authority, approved May 17, 2004 (Ga. L. 2004, p. 3983); to provide for the assets and liabilities thereof; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
