Georgia Property Tax Fairness Fund; create

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapters 7 and 8 of Title 48 and Chapter 8 of Title 33 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to income taxes, sales and use taxes, and fees and taxes relative to insurance, respectively, so as to create the Georgia Property Tax Fairness Fund; to require that high-technology data center and insurance premium tax collections be deposited into such fund; to provide for rules and regulations; to provide for recoverability; to provide for the repeal of insurance premium tax credits and abatements; to provide for conforming changes; to provide for a contingent effective date and automatic repeal; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
