Georgia Highlands College Community Impact Day; July 4, 2026; recognize

This bill designates July 4, 2026, as Georgia Highlands College Community Impact Day to honor the institution's contributions to Northwest Georgia. The resolution recognizes the college's 50+ years of service, including educating over 250,000 community members and generating more than $2.5 billion in economic impact. It also coincides with the 250th anniversary of the United States, linking the college's educational achievements to broader national milestones.
