A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 1 of Title 7 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to provisions applicable to the Department of Banking and Finance and financial institutions generally, so as to require the department to employ an experienced person to advise banks and financial institutions regarding regulatory compliance; to define community development financial institution; to authorize such institutions to conduct certain financing activities and enter into partnerships; to require such institutions to work with state and federal agencies; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
