Employees' Retirement System of Georgia; certain employees who are required to be members and who were former members of the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia; provide

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 2 of Title 47 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Employees' Retirement System of Georgia, so as to provide that certain employees who are required to be members of the Employees' Retirement System of Georgia and who were former members of the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia with at least nine years, seven months, and 30 days of membership service may elect to remain members of the Teachers Retirement System of Georgia; to provide for related matters; to provide conditions for an effective date and automatic repeal; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
