State-Wide Application of Minimum Standard Codes; local governments prohibiting the of use of wood in construction; provision; repeal

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 8-2-25 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to state-wide application of minimum standard codes, codes requiring local adoption and more stringent requirements by local governments, adoption of standards for which state code does not exist, and exemptions for certain farm buildings and structures, so as to repeal a provision relating to local governments prohibiting the use of wood in construction; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
