Criminal procedure; add aggravated sexual battery to the list of offenses for which the statute of limitations is tolled if the victim is younger than 16 years of age

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 3 of Title 17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to limitations on prosecution, so as to add aggravated sexual battery to the list of offenses for which the statute of limitations is tolled if the victim is younger than 16 years of age; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
