A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the O.C.G.A., relating to elementary and secondary education, so as to provide for freedom of religious speech for students and faculty members in public schools; to provide for student protections in student expression, class assignments, organization of religious groups and activities, and limited public forums; to provide for model policies by each local school system on student expression; to provide for freedom of religious expression by faculty and employees of public schools while fulfilling the duties of their jobs; to provide for statutory construction; to provide for related matters; to provide for a short title; to provide for legislative findings; to provide for applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
