A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 31 of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to charter schools, so as to provide for fair and timely notice when any process is initiated which could lead to the closure or restructuring of a charter school; to provide for definitions; to provide notice requirements; to provide for a public hearing; to provide for a student and family impact statement; to provide for related matters; to provide for a short title; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
