Dozier School for Boys and Okeechobee School Victim Compensation Program; Establishing the Dozier School for Boys and Okeechobee School Victim Compensation Program within the Department of Legal Affairs; requiring the department to accept and process applications for the payment of compensation claims under the program; requiring the department to provide specified notice of the program; requiring the department, subject to the appropriation of funds for that purpose, to pay a specified compensation amount to approved applicants, etc. APPROPRIATION: $20,000,000

Support for the State of Israel; Expressing support for the State of Israel and condemning the attacks and hateful actions by the Hamas terrorist group, etc.

Blood Clot and Pulmonary Embolism Policy Workgroup; Citing this act as the “Emily Adkins Prevention Act”; requiring the Secretary of Health Care Administration, in conjunction with the State Surgeon General, to establish a blood clot and pulmonary embolism policy workgroup; requiring the secretary to submit a final report to the Governor and the Legislature by a specified date, etc.

Domestic Violence; Citing this act as "Greyson’s Law"; requiring the court with jurisdiction over the proceeding to consider certain factors in deciding whether shared parental responsibility is detrimental to the child; providing additional conduct regarding domestic violence which the court must consider when ordering a parenting plan; providing an additional factor that the court must consider in determining whether a petitioner of a domestic violence injunction is in imminent danger, etc.

Florida Atlantic University Men’s Basketball Team; Recognizing and celebrating the incredible accomplishments of the Florida Atlantic University men’s basketball team and the university’s commitment to both academic and athletic excellence, creating a collegiate brand that is nationally renowned, etc.

Relief of Christeia Jones/Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; Providing for the relief of Christeia Jones, as guardian of Logan Grant, Denard Maybin, Jr., and Lanard Maybin; providing an appropriation to compensate them for injuries and damages sustained as a result of an automobile accident caused by Trooper Raul Umana, an employee of the Florida Highway Patrol, a division of the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles; providing a limitation on the payment of compensation and specified fees, etc. CLAIM WITH APPROPRIATION: $7,500,000

Public Records/Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel Office; Expanding a public records exemption to include all records pertaining to a registration application submitted by any criminal conflict and civil regional counsel office for a registration certificate and registration license plate or decal issued under a fictitious name; providing for future legislative review and repeal; providing a statement of public necessity, etc.

Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsels; Specifying the responsibilities of regional counsels regarding witness coordination; removing the requirement that regional counsel employees be governed by Justice Administrative Commission classification and salary and benefits plans; authorizing regional counsels to access certain confidential information relating to proceedings involving children under specified circumstances; authorizing regional counsel offices to obtain fictitious names for motor vehicle and vessel plates or decals, etc.

Financial Literacy Instruction in Public Schools; Citing this act as the “Dorothy L. Hukill Financial Literacy Act”; revising the requirements regarding financial literacy for the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards; revising the required credits for a standard high school diploma to include one-half credit of instruction in personal financial literacy and money management and seven and one-half, rather than eight, credits in electives; modifying the requirements for the award of a standard high school diploma for Academically Challenging Curriculum to Enhance Learning options, etc.
