Building Regulation; Revising eligibility requirements for a person applying to become certified as a building code inspector or plans examiner; revising the special conditions or requirements that the Florida Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Board may impose on provisional certificates; prohibiting local laws, ordinances, or regulations that prohibit or restrict a private property owner’s ability to obtain a building permit to demolish a single-family residential structure located in certain flood zones if certain conditions are met; requiring the local jurisdiction to provide equal access under certain circumstances to certain documents to a private provider, owner, and contractor, etc.
