Rev. A. Knighton Stanley Way Designation Act of 2024

This bill symbolically renames a specific section of Iowa Avenue, N.W., in Ward 4, to honor Rev. A. Knighton Stanley. The designated stretch of road runs between Arkansas Avenue, N.W., and 13th Street, N.W. Once enacted, the street will officially carry the new name "Rev. A. Knighton Stanley Way" as a commemorative designation. The legislation requires approval from the Mayor and a period of congressional review before it becomes effective.
