RECOGNIZING AND CELEBRATING THE LUNAR NEW YEAR 2025.

SCR 13 is a ceremonial resolution recognizing and celebrating the Lunar New Year 2025 (January 29-February 12) in Delaware. It acknowledges the cultural significance of the holiday, including its observance by Delaware's Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, and the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac. The resolution formally extends best wishes for health and prosperity to all celebrating this event but does not create new laws or policies. It was passed unanimously by Delaware's Senate and House of Representatives in early 2025.
