AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY THE REGULATION OF THE CORPORATE ACQUISITION OF RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY.

SB 1423 establishes a 10-member task force to study how corporate ownership of residential properties affects housing markets. The task force will examine impacts on affordability and rental prices, issues with requiring corporate bidders to separate at foreclosure auctions, potential disclosure requirements for corporate property ownership, and policies to limit corporate ownership.
