Dental Hygienists Peer Health Assistance Program

Summary
The act creates a peer health assistance program (program) for dental hygienists to assist dental hygienists with physical, emotional, or psychological problems that may be detrimental to the dental hygienist's ability to practice dental hygiene. The program is funded by an annual $15 fee each dental hygienist is required to pay upon initial licensure and upon reinstatement or renewal of the dental hygienist's license.
