AN ACT FOR THE ARKANSAS GOVERNOR'S MANSION COMMISSION APPROPRIATION FOR THE 2026-2027 FISCAL YEAR.

This bill provides funding for the Arkansas Governor's Mansion Commission for the 2026-2027 fiscal year to cover staff salaries, operating expenses, and maintenance of the mansion and grounds. The legislation authorizes the hiring of nine regular employees, including an administrator, chef, and horticulturalist, as well as up to four temporary or part-time workers. A total of $1,500,250 is allocated for personal services and operations, while an additional $500,000 is set aside for the upkeep of the mansion, Grand Hall, and surrounding grounds. The funds must be used in strict compliance with state procurement and budgetary laws, and the act includes an emergency clause to ensure the agency can begin operations on July 1, 2026.
