TO RECOGNIZE THE JOHN BROWN UNIVERSITY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL GOLDEN EAGLES AS THE 2024 SOONER ATHLETIC CONFERENCE WOMEN'S BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS.

This Senate resolution officially recognizes the John Brown University women's basketball team as the 2024 Sooner Athletic Conference champions. It highlights their historic victory over Langston University, which concluded with a 28-3 season record and a twenty-sixth consecutive win. The document also honors Tarrah Stephens as the tournament's most outstanding player and acknowledges the leadership of Head Coach Jeff Soderquist. Upon adoption, a copy of this recognition will be provided to the head coach by the Secretary of the Senate.
