legislative sessions; subjects; even-numbered years

This proposed constitutional amendment would limit Arizona's regular legislative sessions in even-numbered years to only four types of bills: repealing laws or administrative rules, emergency measures, government funding support, or budget reconciliation. It would require the governor to specify subjects for special sessions, restricting those sessions to only those topics. The amendment must be approved by voters at the next general election to take effect. Currently, it is in early legislative stages with no votes recorded.
